Review of the Ferryboat B&BDuring my recent visit to the Ferryboat B&B, I was pleasantly surprised by the high standard of accommodation offered within what initially appeared to be a modest exterior. The room I stayed in was impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, and modern en-suite bathroom with a powerful shower. the presence of an electric kettle and tea/coffee facilities added a touch of convenience to my stay. Although the B&B lacks lavish frills, its straightforward approach is refreshing and practical. The lounge area, equipped with a honesty bar, invited a cozy atmosphere for relaxed evenings. I particularly appreciated the option for in-room breakfast, where the generous selection-encompassing both cooked and continental options-exceeded my expectations for a B&B. Location-wise, the Ferryboat is ideal for travelers, just minutes from the Fishguard ferry terminal, making it a perfect stopover after a late voyage. The hosts were welcoming, and their attentiveness contributed significantly to the pleasant experience. While my stay was brief, I found it to be an excellent balance of value and comfort; I would gladly return in future travels to Ireland.
